Luminous Leviathan Biography

"Upon a midnight deary, while I pondered weak and weary, Over many a quaint and curious volume of forgotten lore.."

That's what Edgar Allen Poe said in the Raven. And that's what I will use to tell you my story...

Upon a midnight that was very dark but only the most beautiful stars twinkled, I was reading a book..about a scientist studying the structures of a nictus, peacebringers and warshades...little did I know was that the book was steering me into the direction that my own fate chose to step in.

The book seemed so enchanted and so mysterious that it was somewhat impossible for me to believe that this scientist was actually a scientist at all. Since I have a curious nature, I decided to look up and find this so called scientist.

He was located here in Paragon City! I couldn't believe it! What luck! So, I made my way to his location which was in an university. He taught Biology, it seemed. I made my way to his classroom and there he was, with no class but he was reading something very carefully. He didn't notice I waltzed in on my own.

I politely and sheepishly walked over to him, tapping him on the shoulder, "Excuse me...did you happen to write about the Warshades, peacebringers and the nictus?"

He pushed up his glasses and looked at me. His smile was sly and it was a bit...unreal, so to speak. It was like he was hiding something! But what was he hiding?!

"Yes, I have. Are you here to learn about these creatures?" He inquired. I simply nodded and looked at him. I noticed that there was a cage towards the back of the classroom with a sheet over it..

"What is that?" I asked, pointing to it.

He got up and walked over to the cage. His hand grasped the sheet and pulled it off. There hovering was a peacebringer nova, looking awfully sad. I noticed that the cage was glowing a dark aura. It must have been keeping it in, for it was powerful enough to break out of any other cage!

"This, my dear, is a Peacebringer. A void hunter just so happened to offer me this one as a specimen..." He looked at the poor creature, grinning like he had just won an award! "It cannot get out for the power of the Quantum surrounds this cage...unless...you unlock it's door. I have the only key."

I growled. How could he do this to a creature that wanted peace amongst humans and these creatures alike!? Enraged, I darted towards him and punched my fist into his gut. He was older then me, so he was slower. He couldn't react on time. I grabbed him by his shirt collar and pushed him against the wall. I was never so enraged!

Startled, he slowly took the key out of his pocket. "He-here..don't hurt me, please!" He offered the key to me and I graciously accepted it. I let him go and walked to the cage. I was afraid of what the quantum power might do to me, but I didn't care. I slowly put the key into the lock and opened it.

The Peacebringer looked at me with it's bluish-white eyes..it seemed it was staring into my soul, then it spoke as it came out. "You have rescued me. I thank you. I have been imprisoned very long because of my carelessness..But thank you."

I smiled, replying in such a sweet voice, "You are very welcome!" The peacebringer came closer to me and hovered infront of me, "Would you...like to join me in the fight against all evil? Your soul is pure, your heart is pure and your mind is clear."

My lips were closed and I looked a bit surprised. I thought about it for a moment. If I was to join with this creature...I knew that I Was never going to be the same...never ever again. If I didn't, it would be alone...able to be pursued by Voids and other horrible creatures. I merely nodded.

The Peacebringer nodded and began to merge with me with the bright, white light of hope engulfing us. There, when we formed, I stared at my hands. My skin has turned blue...? ...Well, it'll hide my identity, I thought. However, I felt as if I could do so much in a matter of seconds, with a flick of my wrist...

That's how I became Luminous Leviathan. And that's who I intend to be from now on.
